Raw Perlite
Perlite minerals are naturally occurring silica-based volcanic rocks. Raw Perlite is widely used in the construction industry because it contains siliceous and aluminum components in its chemical composition and shows hydraulic (pozzolanic) activity by chemically reacting with calcium-based binders. With this feature, it is an excellent aggregate that provides economic gain from cement and increases durability.
The distinguishing feature of the perlite mine in the Cappadocia Region from other perlites is that its formation is close to domes, flows and volcanic vents, it is 95% pure perlite and its texture is generally bulbous. Areas of Use: Used in Agriculture, Foundry and Construction sectors.
